This is all we got from Full Armor which is a total shame because these guys were pretty good. They were a metal band leaning to more glam part of the genre. They had this one 4 song EP and an appearance on a metal sampler “White Metal Invasion” the next year. Now I’d like to tell you more about the band but I can’t because I can’t find any info on them. This is complicated by the fact that there are at least 2 modern Christian bands with the same name but they do not have the same members. So we are left with the EP which may be a good thing because you can just enjoy some really good metal.

These guys were from the Santa Cruz area and I had the privilege of them doing a show for me in Boulder Creek back in ’88. The band played a full set, I want to say at least 40 to 45 minutes long if not longer (I’m basing this off of my bootleg of the concert which I believe was on a 90 minute cassette and featured songs on both sides… And no I don’t have it anymore, I have no idea what happened to it.) with many more songs but of course the songs on the EP were prominently featured. In fact they opened the show with White Knights and it just kicked HARD! Total Glam Metal vibes and the Stryper influence was not only audible but visual as well but I would not go so far as to call them Stryper clones. As you can hear, demo production quality aside, the band was quite talented and played tight. More importantly the guys were all down to earth, no rock star egos and the concert was a huge success in bringing people in the door of our fledgling storefront ministry at the time.
