Salmond & Mulder – Fun Raiser – 1983

This is the fourth and final album from the duo. Roy went on to do a couple solo albums and then of course a huge producer career. Mulder on the other hand slipped behind the scenes but I understand he did continue to do some writing. This was also the first album released on Roy’s short lived label River Records INC. This is by far my favourite album from these guys but we don’t have any sales numbers so we don’t know if listeners shared my view. This album contains what is their most famous tune though, “The Turkey Song”. It would be played at many Thanksgiving parties for years. This album was only released in Canada but I have read many U.S. comments about it so it must have got some distribution in the U.S.

Salmond & Mulder – Stumbling Heavenward – 1979

This was the second album from Canadian duo Salmond & Mulder. They were very popular in Canada but I’m doubtful if their album was released anywhere else in the world as they seem relatively unknown outside of Canada. This album has a seventies sound and is well produced. Not much more to day other than that but if you’re a fan of 70’s CCM you should give this album a listen. Guest appearances on the album included Al Perkins and Tom Howard.

Connie Scott – Hold On – 1987

This is Connie Scott’s third solo album. For this one she moved to Vancouver based Image 7 Records after leaving Sparrow. The president of Image 7 (aka Image VII) Gerry Scott.

Connie shows up for this one with a Modest-Madonna look and a Dionne Warwick sound. Roy Salmond produces on this album, making it a high quality all-Canadian affair.
