Marloe Scott Wilson was/is a South African artist. This was her only release in North America though she did have a release in South Africa 3 years earlier. I haven’t found a copy of that album yet but I believe it was a secular album. She also sang lead on an album from a band called Vibe in 1987 which was another South African release which is actually really good. I don’t know much about her back story but I do know a little about her story after her music career. At the time of this album she stood out with her Pink hair and while common place now it was quite unusual in 1985 especially in South Africa. This earned her the nickname “The Pink Lady”. After her music career she looks to have had an organic herb nursery and her own restaurant. Now she appears to be happily retired and sells some art which I had a look at it and it’s really good, not my style but I know nothing about art so my taste is a moot point. You can see her art for sale as well as more info about her on her webpage https://marloescottwilson.co.za/
