Lifesavors – Father, Son and Holy Spirit – 1982

I’m assuming this is the Radio single for “The One”. The version here is a slight remix of the version on the album. The other cut “You And Me” is a fun Roackabilly tune that sounds very much like The Lifters.

  1. This is not a radio single. It was a stand alone release that the band recorded when Michael Knott took over the band. “The One” was later re-recorded with Brian Goins on vocals after they signed to Refuge Records. Also, “Father, Son and Holy Spirit” is part of The Lifesavors logo – see the Us Kids cover. It’s not the name of this release. It is just the “You and Me” single.

    1. Quick question Matt. I am assuming Swing Records was just a name used for their 2 self releases or was there more to the name?
