Many believe this is the fighter album we never got but the story is more nuanced. Yes Billy Heller plays guitar on most tracks but the contribution from the other members of Fighter was minimal. Jim Wolter only contributed to writing one track, Mark Pence played keyboards on a track, and Sean Murphy supplied some background vocals. I too was under the impression that this was a Fighter album in hiding but upon further research it doesn’t appear to be. The album is far more pop than the fighter album and Amy really switched up her vocal style and it’s a much better style and the album is really good. “Be That Child” absolutely rivals anything that was on commercial radio though it might have been a few years late. I do however think it’s a fantastic track and a great song overall and it’s definitely going in my regular rotation.
