In 1995 Jimmie Lee Sloas (Imperials) and Gordon Kennedy (White Heart) put together a band of studio musicians John Hammond, Blair Masters, and Eric Darken. They recorded this one off album for Sparrow and it’s pretty good. Normally we don’t get this far into the 90’s but I stumbled on this one and thought what the heck, let’s upload it. The album has a pretty good 90’s rock feel without going all grungy. I’ll admit I was a little surprised with Jimmie’s work on the album as, well, he was in the Imperials. This is not a direction I expected from him. Gordon’s guitar work is a real stand out on the album, I knew he was a good guitarist but this album really let him do his thing. I’ll have to pick “I Wanna Know” as my favourite track. Another great album that deserves a listen.
